Set in parkland, the project comprised 9 three and four storey blocks with 544 student residences, a 470 seat lecture theatre, pavilion building and associated infrastructure.
Mechanical services include a gas fired boiler plant in the top floor plant room of each block with ventilation fans on the roof and calorifers for hot water distribution located beneath the plant rooms. Full BMS control system.
Electrical services provided via one substation, site wide LV distribution and all internal/external lighting and power. Site wide networked fire alarm system and full DDA requirements. Card access system, intercom and CCTV.
