The project comprises the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and handover documentation of the mechanical and electrical engineering services works to the proposed student residential development on Long Street, Hackney, London.

The project is a 7-storey new building of student residential apartments. The project includes 221 apartments, 268 No.of beds, ground floor amenity spaces and basement plant rooms and cycle store.

Generally M&E services to the buildings include:

• Incoming utilities
• Gas fire boiler plant, combined heat and power engine and associated systems.
• Local extract ventilation systems to apartments
• VRF heating and cooling systems
• Ground floor + basement ventilation systems
• Hot and cold-water plant and distribution
• Above ground drainage
• Controls and BMS
• Mechanical system cleaning and commissioning.
• Sprinkler Systems
• LV supply, with metering to serve the building
• Small power systems
• Data wiring installations
• Lighting and emergency lighting, lighting controls
• Fire alarms, security, CCTV system, intruder alarm system
• Earthing & bonding system, lightning protection system
