The project comprised 4 residential blocks ranging from 4 to 7 stories, with a central electrical switch room and a tank room. There are 238 study bedrooms and 6 designated bedrooms adapted for disabled students.
Electrical Services: central substation, site wide LV distribution and all internal/external lighting and power.
Mechanical Services: incoming mains cold water to tank room, break tank and booster sets to site distribution mains with valved connections for the future blocks. Each block has a water meter. Block roof-top plant rooms house the gas fired boiler plant and calorifers providing domestic hot water throughout and BMS.
Specialist services include: solar panels on the roof of each block, DX cooling, smoke extract, fire alarms, door access, intercom, full DDA requirements and CCTV.
